Electrical Safety Course

Operating around fallen, damaged or suspect power lines can be part of emergency service response, especially during flood operations. Knowing what to do and not to do, and how to stay safe is a key part of our risk mitigation in these circumstances.

Due to an increased likelihood of exposure to these types of hazards during flood operations, this course is a pre-requisite for all members wishing to gain a State Operations Group Endorsement. 

However all members can benefit from its lessons and may undertake this short but valuable course in their own time. On completion you will be provided with a certificate.
