State Operations Group Field Operators Prerequisites Course

Members wishing to become part of MRNSW’s operational flood response capability are required to complete a number of training and assessment prerequisites. These prerequisites have been clustered in a single course and must be completed before you can be enrolled in the SOG Field Operators Course.

The State Operations Field Operators Prerequisite Course components are:

• Fit-For-Role (Self-Assessment declaration, Physical Assessment and Swim Test)
• Introduction to SOG (online module)
• Flood Rescue Awareness (online module)
• Electrical Safety (online module)
