Marine Rescue NSW (MRNSW) is the State’s legislated marine rescue service, committed to the mission of saving lives on the water. Boasting the largest and most advanced search and rescue fleet in Australasia, along with the most extensive marine VHF radio network, the 3,200 highly trained volunteers and staff in 45 strategically located units across NSW deliver this life-saving service 24/7/365.

The Headquarters staff at MRNSW provide a well-resourced and close-knit leadership, management and support team function for their volunteer units as well as government and community partners and stakeholders.

Your next opportunity

Due to organisational growth, an opportunity has become available for a Logistics Officer to join the team, working under the fleet portfolio.

Based at the MRNSW head office in Cronulla, NSW you will be primarily responsible for distributing and servicing of Personal Flotation Devices (PFD’s), with job training provided.

What you’ll bring to the team

You will be an ethical and professional team member with an eye for detail, can follow processes comprehensively and have experience working with only minimal supervision. 

You will be highly motivated to distribute and service life saving equipment to the Marine Rescue Volunteers at a consistently high level of quality. 

This position is may be suited to someone looking at entering or re-entering the work sector, is a self starter who can work autonomously, and is very process driven. Job share would also be considered for this position if the appropriate candidates apply.
