Marine Rescue NSW (MRNSW) operates under the State Emergency and Rescue Management Act, with a vision of being a world-class volunteer rescue service. About the Opportunity
Marine Rescue NSW is seeking a full-time Emergency Systems Officer based in Cronulla, NSW.
This role supports the Emergency Systems Manager in developing, implementing, and maintaining state-wide radio communications and emergency services management systems, working closely with the IT team and operational functional areas.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
About You
To qualify for this role, you must have demonstrated experience in implementing, supporting, and coordinating technology systems, including radio communications and IP network systems. Ideally, you will bring at least 3-4 years of technical experience in a relevant field, showcasing your ability to navigate complex systems and a demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt. A licence to operate VHF radio and a current and valid driver’s licence will also be essential.
This role is ideally suited for individuals from a radio or communications background, with a solid understanding of contemporary data networks and their integration with radio systems.
