ConstitutionThe Marine Rescue NSW Constitution sets out the structure of the company, Volunteer Marine Rescue NSW, as incorporated under the Corporations Act 2001. It sets out key requirements for Board Directors and members.
The original Constitution was drafted by the Facilitation Group set up by the State Government to guide the establishment of the new organisation and adopted by the interim Board on July 4, 2009. This was later amended and adopted.
The members of Marine Rescue NSW have now voted in favour of a new Constitution, which was adopted at an Extraordinary General Meeting on August 18, 2012.
