State Rescue Board meets

The NSW State Rescue Board met at the Marine Rescue NSW Headquarters at Cronulla today.

The Rescue Board’s role is to ensure the efficient and effective maintenance of rescue services throughout NSW.

It comprises the heads or senior representatives of the rescue agencies that operate across the State, along with the State Emergency Operations Controller.

Marine Rescue NSW Commissioner Stacey Tannos has been the Chair of the Board since November 2015.

NSW Rural Fire Service Commissioner Rob Rogers, Surf Life Saving NSW Chief Executive Officer Steve Pearce, NSW SES Commissioner Carlene York, NSW Volunteer Rescue Association Inc. Commissioner Mark Gibson, Commissioner Stacey Tannos, NSW Ambulance Commissioner Dr Dominic Morgan, NSW Police Force Inspector Aimee Templeman, representing the State Emergency Operations Controller, and Fire and Rescue NSW Commissioner Paul Baxter met on-site, with NSW Police Force A/Superintendent Robert Corry joining the meeting via Zoom.
