April and May were busy months for MRNSW volunteers, who performed 300 rescues, including 122 in response to life endangering emergencies.

The busiest unit was Marine Rescue Lake Macquarie which launched 45 rescue missions in April and May, followed by Marine Rescue Port Stephens (21), Marine Rescue Hawkesbury (20), and Marine Rescue Central Coast & Marine Rescue Botany Port Hacking (14).
