The BOM are forecasting a South-Easterly swell to affect between Seal Rocks and Coffs Harbour from Friday May 24 to Saturday afternoon May 25.
Swells will reach 3-4 meters peaking Friday afternoon with a swell period around 10 seconds. Winds will reach up to 35 knots from the South. The weather will be poor with heavy rain expected Friday and scattered showers Saturday.
These conditions will result in a higher level of risk on exposed and south facing beaches/rock-shelves.
Conditions will be high risk for rock fishing in particular.

- Lucky boat-motor-trailer raffle winner announced!

The lucky winner has been drawn from the thousands of entries in the Great Marine Rescue NSW Boat Show Raffle at this year’s Sydney International Boat Show.
Deputy Commissioner Heinz Mueller drew the winning tickets at MRNSW Headquarters today, after the 45th Boat Show closed last night.
“Congratulations to all five prize winners and even more importantly, thank you to all the visitors to the Boat Show who entered our raffle to support the work of our volunteers to provide a world-class safety net for NSW boaters,” Deputy Commissioner Mueller said.
First prize was taken out by R McWilliams, who has won an Anglapro Lite 374 fishing boat + Suzuki 9.9hp 4 stroke outboard + Dunbier Nipper 13 foot Trailer, with a total value of $8,900.
Our other prize winners were:
2nd - Suzuki 6hp 4-stroke outboard valued at $1,880: F de Wilde
3rd - Family set of 4 Hutchwilco Inflatable Lifejackets valued at $516: M Bradley
4th - ACR Boating Grab Bag + SOLAS Strobe Light valued at $228: R Thompson
5th – The Australian Boating Manual by Dick Gandy valued at $90: A Mozik.
Funds raised from the raffle will be used to provide life-saving defibrillators for MRNSW vessels.
