As a community-based volunteer organisation, Marine Rescue NSW relies on the financial generosity of the people of NSW, the NSW Government and members of the boating community.

We gratefully acknowledge the financial support of both the NSW Government, which provides direct funding, and the members of the boating community who contribute to our organisation through their boat registration and licences.  Together, this provides MRNSW with more than $6 million a year towards the valuable services our volunteers provide and the ongoing operation of our rescue vessels, marine radio network and educational and other activities.
