  • New craft for Entrance Marine Rescue

BOATING on Tuggerah Lakes just become a lot safer.

The Entrance unit of Marine Rescue this week took delivery of a new 6.25m Cobia Rhib rescue boat valued at $120,000.

The craft has twin 90hp outboard motors and is specifically designed to proceed through shallower waters, which has always been a problem for rescues in the lakes system. The unit has 10 qualified skippers waiting to be trained.
