- Top brass praise Marine Rescue

Assistant Commissioner Clarke is the commander of the NSW Major Events and Incidents Group and was joined by Tweed-Byron Local Area Command Superintendent Stuart Wilkins and Inspector Greg Jago to have a look at the marine rescue service's operations.
Assistant Commissioner Clarke, who is also the Deputy State Emergency Operations Controller, has the marine rescue service under his control and came to inspect the capability of equipment and personnel.
"I've come to have a look at how the marine rescue service goes about its business and I have to say I'm extremely impressed," Assistant Commissioner Clarke said.
